Our 5-Level Artist System is designed to provide a clear path for professional growth, development, and advancement within the salon. Each level represents an artist’s progression in technical skill, education, confidence, guest experience, independence, and leadership. Artists advance through the levels as they demonstrate growth and consistency in their skills, service standards, and overall contribution to the salon. The level system allows each artist to understand where they are in their career journey, what is expected at their current level, and what opportunities are available as they continue to grow. Advancement is based on demonstrated development and readiness—not simply time spent at a particular level. This system is intended to encourage continued education, celebrate growth, and provide a clear roadmap from Emerging Artist to Legacy Artist.
Emerging Artist
$An emerging professional beginning their salon journey. The Emerging Artist focuses on foundational technical skills, hands-on experience, and learning the salon’s standards and guest experience under the guidance of a Master Artist.
Signature Artist
$$An artist developing confidence, consistency, and greater independence. The Signature Artist continues to refine technical skills, expand service knowledge, and build a strong guest experience while continuing education and working toward independent floor readiness.
Premier Artist
$$$A developing professional who is ready to work independently on the salon floor. The Premier Artist manages their own guests, consultations, services, and guest experience while continuing to build technical expertise and clientele.
Legacy Stylist
$$$$A highly experienced artist who demonstrates advanced technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. The Legacy Artist serves as a mentor and educator, supports the development of other artists, and helps uphold the salon’s technical, professional, and guest experience standards.
